The Queen's Platinum Jubilee

It would be amiss to write about London in June without mention of the highly anticipated Platinum Jubilee weekend. Between 2nd - 5th June is a range of festivities and pageants to commemorate the 70-year reign of The Queen thus far. For a guide on the celebrations taking place over this period, see our post ‘Jubilee events in London’.

The Open Garden Squares Weekend

The 11th - 12th June sees the Open Garden Squares Weekend event as the public are given open access to the private gardens of London’s residents for one weekend only. Tickets for the event are still available, and can be purchased from £20 here.

Royal Ascot

For guests seeking a day away from the buzz of London’s streets whilst still seeking a taste of quintessential British tradition is the revered Royal Ascot, which runs from 14th - 18th June.
